

Jeffrey L. Morris is a founding partner at McLaughlin Morris Law who leads the criminal defense practice at our firm. As an experienced criminal law attorney and a former prosecutor with 15+ years of experience, he defends individuals charged with a variety of criminal offenses, with an emphasis on economic and white collar crimes. He has an office in Delray Beach where he represents clients throughout Palm Beach County and an office in Miami where he represents clients through Broward County and Miami-Dade County, FL.

As an Assistant State Attorney in the 17th Judicial Circuit in Broward County, FL, Jeff Morris prosecuted criminal cases for nine years. Six of those years were focused exclusively in the Economic Crimes Unit in Broward County, where he represented the State of Florida in white collar crimes and financial crimes cases such a money laundering, identity theft, embezzlement, investment fraud, healthcare fraud, mortgage fraud, tax fraud, insurance fraud, and others.
Having participated in over 45 jury trials during his tenure, Jeff Morris understands how the State Attorney’s Office works when pursuing charges and how it will build its case. He uses that knowledge to develop the strongest possible defense and fight aggressively on your behalf for the best possible resolution.
